The Thorn Bird Legend

The thorn bird story is so inspiring. From the day thorn bird is born, it roams the world. The legend goes as such -it is all about a bird which sings just once in its life, more sweetly than any other creature on the face of the earth. From the time, it leaves its nest it searches for a tree and it rests not until it finds one. The bird on finding one sings among the savage branches and impales itself upon the sharpest spine. The bird dies, its heart pierced, and dying it rises above its own agony to out-carol the lark and the nightingale. The heavens listen and the world rejoices and God smiles.
                                  
                                           For the best is only brought at the cost of great pain...

Each day of our life is a struggle. When we are determined, nothing stops us from achieving what we want.

  W hen I was a child, once in a year we had buses packed with books of all kinds-short stories, general knowledge, riddles, autobiography, and a lot more-every type of book a bookworm would dream of. There was always a constraint. Papa could somehow manage our admission fees and our traveling fare. When one bus would reach our school I would ask for money from my mother. She never said 'No' yet I dared not ask for more money. In little ways, she had inspired me into doing great things. Whatever little money I had during my afternoon break,  I would run on hearing the school bell ring and surf amidst the books. "India's Best Kept Secret" Odisha is the land of fables and myths. This beautiful eastern coastal state of India has one of the oldest sun temples in India. Konark Sun Temple built in the 13th century is dedicated to Sun God Surya. The presiding deity is the Sun God Surya. The main door of the temple is closed.
